Yesterday, we considered our relationship with our creativity and our creative work, and looked for trouble spots. Mine is confidence – sharing my work, submitting it to publishers, putting it out self-published.

You might feel guilt for spending time writing when your friends and family would like attention. You might believe your specific talent will never pay dividends, that you’ll never be able to supplement or replace your day job income by selling your creative work.

For today, contemplate this negativity. Be aware of what you say to yourself about your creative work.

When you’re ready, make a commitment to change how you talk to yourself. If something isn’t working, you can change it.

You have the ability to create your emotional creative environment. It’s up to you whether that’s positive or negative.
