After a lot of trial and error and false starts, I think I’ve found the right angle for my WIP. All along, I’ve been working on a novel that ends on a hopeful note, but now I see I’ve been writing a tragedy and things are falling into place. If I can get the scene sequence down, I could be on a glide path to finishing a real first draft. Tenth time’s the charm! Of course, I’ve said that before, but today is no day for negativity!
